Tumble dryer is a laundry appliance that takes care of drying of clothes with the available drying programmes. This is like a best company for the washing machine and they are normally kept side by side or one up on the other like the stacking system. In the first hand the difference of the machine is whether the vented model or the condenser model. In the vented model the water of the damp clothes are flushed through the hose or vent. Where as in the condenser type it is collected in the reservoir. The vented models are cheaper than the condenser type.

Another distinguish is whether the model is with the timer or the sensor. In the timer model, the user has to set the desired time for the machine to function. However, in case of the sensor model the machine automatically stops when the clothes inside are dry. This is also known as the moisture sensor. Then comes the construction of the machine whether it is compact, built-in or the freestanding. The compact dryers can dry only half the load of the full size machine. The built-in models can be concealed in a cabinet door. The freestanding machine can be placed anywhere and it can be stacked up on the washing machine.

The capacity of the normal size machine is either 6kg or 7kg and for the large size it is 10kg. There are many drying programs like the cupboard dry, extra dry, iron, easy iron, wool, and anti-crease. This program selection is easy to choose and it gives the best care for the clothes inside. Some of the models also have delay start function, which can be programmed before hand. Some model have the remaining time display, the program stage can be understood with the LED indicators.

There are also options for the temperature setting like the high or low. For thick clothes, high temperature should be selected and for the light clothes, low temperature should be selected. There is also a buzzer at the end of the program.

For the well-being of the tumble dryer, there should be maintenance of the heat exchanger, water reservoir and the lint filters. This not only gives long life to the machine but also works without any disturbance.
